Rob was first exposed to high fidelity casualty simulation during his military service as a Combat Medic whilst preparing for operational tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. Whilst impressed by the quality of the moulage, Rob also learned the value of how high quality, realistic simulation can prepare the practitioner for when they do eventually treat real world, live incidents, thus providing valuable learning outcomes, for not only the practitioner, but ultimately for the casualty/patient.

Casualty Simulation

Rob began in the simulation world, like many others, as a hobbyist- self-taught from online videos using the most basic and cheapest equipment available. Gradually, with time, experience and mentoring working his way up to more advanced skills and techniques- which he not only provides but also teaches- on the very well received 3 day Zero-to-Hero Simulation Moulage Course.

Rob is able to bring his vast experience of prehospital medical training and clinical exposure to the learning and casualty simulation environment- delivering realistic wounds, scenarios and solutions.
